Goal Tracking

Over the last two terms in Totara, we have been looking at the best way to track student goals - especially since the introduction of Linc-Ed. 

We have worked out a system that allows students to see there 3 goals and work towards ticking them off in both writing and maths, though the process is slightly different depending on the subject. 

Though we started having goals designed to groups we have now individually tailored them for every student. 

All of our students are enjoying having these goal cards. Tyler has even taken it home multiple times to show his mum how well he doing.. He has even added his own goals to his writing in order to help himself improve (Though they aren't official ones on LincEd)

Next year when working with the goal cards, I need to be careful to get through all students and not just the ones who come up to me all the time! This will ensure everyone has a few ticked off before it comes around to doing reports. It will also keep everyone motivated to achieve as many as they can, the more they do the better they are.
