Because we have introduced regular school-wide goals at KNS, Circle Time has become a regular Monday morning occurrence. In class, we have established rules and a talking cush ball. It was great to have it already established when we had to gather together to talk about the events last Friday in Christchurch.
I think still I need to work on really sticking to the rules in circle time - and for me personally not talking so much, but instead guiding the students for answers. We also need to work on making a circle, it becomes hard at times in our limited space.
